Description

Nabil is responsible for Worldpay’s Global Crypto & Web3 business, which today processes >$10B of annual payment volume for 35+ clients across the globe. Worldpay was the first major international payment processor to enter the Crypto & Web3 space in 2015, and today has a team of 40+ individuals dedicated to the vertical. Worldpay’s services enable Crypto- and Web3-native businesses to access a larger consumer base and enhance consumer experience by allowing consumers to access a variety of convenient pay-in and pay-out methods, transact safely through industry-leading fraud prevention and authentication solutions, and manage the end-to-end intersection between the traditional and digital financial ecosystems. Beyond managing Worldpay’s business with new and existing clients in the space, Nabil’s team is also responsible for leading Worldpay’s broader Crypto & Web3 product strategy, partnerships, marketing, thought leadership, and overall commercial risk framework. Previously, Nabil led Worldpay’s international expansion program as Vice President, Global Expansion and Worldpay’s strategy team for its market-leading Global Enterprise eCommerce business unit as Senior Strategy Director. Prior to joining Worldpay in early 2019, Nabil was a member of the investment team at Sorenson Capital where he was actively involved in evaluating and executing private transactions totaling approximately ~$1B in aggregate value. Prior to Sorenson Capital, Nabil started his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in the USA. Nabil graduated summa cum laude, with honors, as the valedictorian of the business school at the University of Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma. Nabil is located in London though frequently travels to key Crypto/Web3 hubs around the world.
